Your roadmap to a confident, informed, and empowered birth
These classes are the heart of our doula support. They go beyond the basics to prepare you and your support team for real-life birth scenarios, your rights, and what to expect every step of the way.
You’ll Learn:
Your Rights in the Hospital – understand your legal rights, how to advocate for yourself, practice embodied consent, and what to do if your rights are not respected.
Common Medical Vocabulary & Anatomy – learn the stages of labor, key anatomy, what providers look for (dilation, effacement, station, position), and what support partners can observe (movement, sound, expression, body language).
Common Medical Interventions – explore common interventions, what’s in them, how and why they’re used, and what happens if you change your mind after saying “yes.”
What to Expect After Birth – from skin-to-skin to discharge, learn about newborn and postpartum procedures, as well as placenta options.
Bonus Add-On: Induction Guidance Call ($200)
If induction is recommended, we’ll walk through natural options, non-medicated hospital methods, and medicated inductions — including the risks, pros, and cons of each — so you can make informed choices.
✨ Most families find that after these classes, they feel so well-prepared they don’t even need in-person doula support. But if you’d like extra hands-on care, we’re here as an optional add-on.

If you’d like us by your side during labor, we’re here. In-person support is not the foundation — it’s the bonus layer of comfort. This includes:
Continuous labor support at your home or hospital
Hands-on comfort measures for you and your partner
Advocacy and guidance through decision-making moments
Emotional reassurance every step of the way
Think of it as an extra safety net: you’ll already have the tools, but with us there, you never have to use them alone.

Important Things to Know About In-Person Support
Before you book, please review these boundaries to make sure we’re the right fit:
Travel Area: I currently serve families birthing in the following cities:
Hollister, Ridgemark, San Juan Bautista, Gilroy, San Martin, Morgan Hill, South San Jose, East San Jose, San Jose, Los Gatos, Campbell, Saratoga, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Los Altos, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City and all the small towns in between.
Booking Timeline: In-person doula support must be booked at least 3 months prior to your estimated due date (EDD).
Non- Refundable $500 deposit required to get started.
Scope of Practice: My role as a doula is to provide emotional, physical, and informational support.
I do not provide medical care, make decisions for you, or replace your provider.
Ideal Client Fit: I work best with families who value preparation, want to feel informed about their options, and are committed to a supported and intentional birth experience.

Our Oxomohco Package is designed for expecting parents who want ongoing, hands-on support throughout pregnancy. With unlimited one-hour pregnancy massages, you’ll have dedicated time to relax, relieve tension, and care for your changing body. (Restrictions apply.)
Alongside massage, we offer guidance, flexibility, and a supportive presence to help you feel confident and cared for every step of the way.
